Built in the Edwardian style in 1907, this Civic Center inn occupies the top two floors of a building once made entirely of redwood (every door still is). The inn has the look and feel of a small European lodge. While it lacks some standard amenities, like an elevator and TVs, it’s big on charm and attention to detail: robes, nature “noises,” earplugs, rotating original artwork, and triple sheeting. Guests can enjoy complimentary afternoon tea and evening wine and cheese.
