With 3,300 acres of land in the North Georgia foothills, Barnsley Resort has jogging routes for a wide variety of skill levels. Explore 12 miles of gently twisting woodland trails, starting with the mild hills of the wilderness trail and horse loop, which take you over water features and around the stables. Even practiced trail runners will find a few of the trails challenging, and those labeled “strenuous” involve hefty elevation changes. Road runners can cruise past boxwood hedges and magnolia trees lining the recommended hotel’s village pedestrian walkways, or head out onto Barnsley Gardens Road for a run through the rural neighborhood.
There are a number of great jogging routes at Barnsley Resort, as we have 12 miles of hiking and biking trails on our grounds. Many early-morning joggers also choose to run the cart paths on our golf course before tee time.
