Like the Forbes Travel Guide recommended Barnsley Resort itself, the coed waiting room at The Spa at Barnsley Resort is casual and welcoming. Four upholstered armchairs are arranged in the corners and face the center of the small, carpeted room. Between the armchairs, sideboards offer a selection of hot tea, trail mix and magazines for you to enjoy. There are also waiting areas in other parts of the spa: Two rattan armchairs with ottomans are set onto an Oriental carpet in a corner of the tiled sauna area for men and for women, and assorted tables and chairs surround the indoor coed whirlpool, where large windows overlook the golf course’s 10th tee. The staff is also happy to pick you up at the pool or whirlpool for your treatment.
The waiting area at The Spa at Barnsley Resort is a cozy, carpeted room with 12-foot ceilings and seating for four. There, guests will find light refreshments such as trail mix and a variety of hot teas.
