Choose between the clubby tavern, the bright greenhouse, the small outdoor patio, or the more formal dining room to enjoy the regional cuisine served in this charming inn. The main dining room is dominated by a wraparound folk-art-style mural of the village of Dorset, with it classic white 18th- and 19th-century buildings. Local ingredients are prepared with international accents, and entrées include wine suggestions from the extensive wine list. Maine crab cakes and several veal dishes are among the most popular items. In the summer, the inn hosts small concerts outside on the lawn, where guests can view the extensive gardens. Housed in the Barrow Inn (see), it is just outside the village center.
