One of Los Angeles’ most venerable fine-dining restaurants, the acclaimed Belvedere at the Peninsula Beverly Hills has long catered to the city’s most discerning crowd. Über-agencies CAA and ICM might have moved from their down-the-street digs to Century City, but the Belvedere dining room is still a deal-sealing destination. For a more laid-back experience, head there for Sunday brunch and grab a table on the cheerful patio, where you can sit amid flowers and trees and soak up the sun with a glass of Perrier Jouêt and the Peninsula’s special croque madame (a rich combination of truffled brioche with aged country ham, fontina cheese and organic eggs).
