This circa 1880s Victorian house was built for Philip Frances Thomas (governor of Maryland from 1848 to 1851) and Clintonia Wright May Thomas. It was then sold to the Episcopal Church to serve as a home for the Diocese of Easton. It's located in the historic district of Easton and is just a short walk to the town's center and Court House Square, which features shops, restaurants, and historic sites. Although the house is decorated with antiques throughout, it also features modern amenities such as CDs, VCRs, DVDs, microwaves, refrigerators, and whirlpool tubs. The property also lends out bikes and maps for no extra charge, so guests get a chance to explore the area.
