There’s a little neighborhood place around the corner from where I live called Giacomo’s [Ristorante] that I think is a great deal and it’s a fun place too. I always get chicken piccata with a side order of broccoli rabe with extra garlic and hot pepper. They make homemade grapefruit limoncello that is amazing.

Modern Pastry is a favorite for canollis, while Mike's Pastry is where you'll find rows of cookies and cakes. Be aware: the lines at both these pastry shops are always long, but it's worth the wait!
