Dependably delicious and cozy, the rustic Italian restaurant ’Cesca has been a favorite of Upper West Siders since it opened in 2003. Stenciled white walls, soft lighting and large, circular booths keep the mood relaxed. The open kitchen churns out hits such as parmesan and prosciutto fritters dusted with a surprising kick of cayenne, and orecchiette with crumbled pork sausage and broccoli rapini. A three-course pre-theater menu is available before 6:30 p.m. for crowds catching a show at nearby Lincoln Center.
