Channel Road Inn feels more like a country bed and breakfast with feminine touches—flowers and girly floral bedding—than a boutique hotel in a big city like L.A. Many of the homey rooms—which were recently renovated—have fireplaces, Jacuzzis, balconies and romantic canopy beds. The little house, which sits on the cusp of the Pacific Palisades and Malibu, just off Pacific Coast Highway and the beach, doesn’t offer dining options. But you’re near some of the area’s best eateries, including casual spots such as Café Delfini and Sam’s By the Beach, and the more upscale Giorgio Baldi, widely considered to be one of the best Italian restaurants in L.A.
