What are the rooms like at The Restoration?

The suites at The Restoration were originally laid out to be condominiums. Because of the market instability in the late 2000s, however, those plans came to a halt and a 16-suite boutique hotel was born. That reconcepting of ideas comes to your benefit because it means condo-sized accommodations. In fact, the one-bedroom suites are more spacious than some other hotel penthouses. But even at an impressive 800 square feet, these lofts are not cold, lifeless spaces doubling as abandoned warehouses. Designers made it a point to keep things warm with exposed brick, modern furnishings, fully equipped kitchens and in-room washers and dryers. The two-bedroom suites clock in at nearly 1,300 square feet. And while many touches such as the whimsically shaped mirrors and vessel bathroom sinks are found in both styles, some of the bigger quarters have balconies, too. The hotel’s largest suite, the 1,600-square-foot Suite 201, offers a 300-square-foot balcony. And that’s on top of the other feature highlights: two separate seating areas and a private entrance.
