They say good things come in small packages, and that remains true for Chez TJ. This contemporary French restaurant housed inside an historic Victorian home may be tiny, but it provides guests with a simply wonderful dining experience. Its four rooms are inviting yet somewhat formal with original artwork, a wood-burning fireplace, fresh flowers, and hand-blown glass pieces. The daily changing menu is filled with fresh ingredients that are obtained locally and has included dishes like truffle glazed Kobe beef short ribs and Sonoma squab with candied kumquats, carrots, and cardamom. Two pirx-fixe menus are available; the 5-course Menu Gastronomique and the 12-course Chef’s Tasting Menu. However, vegetarian and pre-theatre menus are available upon request.
