The guest rooms at The Peninsula Chicago, a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel, have some of the latest in-room technology. A multi-functioning bedside control system is easy to operate and won’t leave you feeling like throwing the thing across the room and switching off the lights the old-fashioned way. At the touch of a button, take charge of comfort features such as lighting and temperature. The console will also provide you with an alarm call and one-touch dialing so you can reach any department within the Chicago hotel in seconds. Though the drapes are not electronically controlled with the system, a cool feature we did enjoy was being able to illuminate the "Do Not Disturb" sign without ever getting out of bed.
Each guestroom and suite is equipped with a state-of-the-art electronic bedside system that allows guests to control guestroom features with the touch of a button. iPod docking stations as well as memory card readers are in rooms as well.
