While you will only find a terrace in one guest room at The Peninsula Chicago, that doesn’t mean there aren’t great views to be seen. The Peninsula Suite boasts a private terrace on the 18th floor. With 3,000 square feet of living space, we can only expect an outdoor area. Sure enough, this Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel has delivered, yet again. The terrace is complete with a whirlpool, allowing you to take in the hustle and bustle on Michigan and Chicago avenues while you relax.
If you can't book the three-bedroom suite, you can always head down to The Terrace on the fourth floor for drinks and appetizers. Sharing an outdoor space with Shanghai Terrace, this bar offers views of Michigan Avenue as well as Lake Michigan.
The Peninsula Suite is the only Suite with a private, 2,000-square-foot outdoor terrace. The terrace, adjacent to Shanghai Terrace is open for lunch, cocktails and dinner during Chicago’s warmer months. Pierrot Gourmet located on the street level, is open for al fresco dining, too.
