At The Peninsula Chicago, the higher the floor the better the view, but do be careful to select the right room category to avoid disappointment. Your best bet is to book a suite at this Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel, since they are all sit on the Chicago hotel’s upper floors and some afford views from north, south and east over scenic Lake Michigan. However, if you were to stay in one of the three room categories instead of a suite, you are better of booking a Grand Deluxe room, which guarantees a view of Michigan Avenue and Chicago’s Water Tower landmark. All Superior rooms, the most basic of accommodations, face Superior Street, which we found to be peaceful and well-lit. If views are not your thing, these rooms are perfect.
Some guests prefer our Grand Deluxe Suites, which offer Northeastern views of Chicago and Michigan Avenues and overlook the historic Water Tower Park.
