Who is the pastry chef at Penrose Room?

Adam W. Thomas is the executive pastry chef of not only the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Penrose Room, but of The Broadmoor as a whole. Before arriving at the Colorado Springs hotel from Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills (A Four Seasons Hotel) in early 2013, Thomas spent time at Capella Singapore; The Ritz-Carlton, Powerscourt in Enniskerry, Ireland (where he helped open Restaurant Gordon Ramsay); and The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel. During his time in Ireland, Thomas competed in and won the 2009 Valrhona International C3 Dessert Competition in Cologne, Germany. Chef Thomas was 18 when he started his first bakery job, a position that inspired him to attend the San Diego Culinary Institute and pursue his culinary career.
