Rooms at Hilton Columbus at Easton all feature a decidedly traditional Georgian-style décor, with dark woods, neutral-colored textiles and stately bedposts. Upcoming room renovations between June and August 2014, however, will add a decidedly contemporary flair to the furnishings, with square headboards, chaise sofas and interesting silhouettes.

Of the 300-plus rooms, 74 are on the “executive levels” on the top two floors of the hotel. Guests also have the option of selecting one of eight suites, including the presidential suite. Décor is consistent throughout all of the room styles, with the only main differences being in room size and amenity offerings, which include terrycloth bathrobes, turndown service and access to the concierge lounge. The lounge provides gorgeous views of the shopping complex and the downtown Columbus skyline, in addition to a complimentary hot breakfast, afternoon hors d’oeuvres, a full bar and various cold snacks and drinks throughout the day.

All rooms include a mini-fridge, laptop safe and coffee maker, as well as heated bathroom mirrors that prevent steam from accumulating when the shower is in use. Also convenient is a portable makeup mirror with built-in light that can be used in the bathroom or in the main room’s vanity as needed.
