The dress code at Abacus is business casual. While you’re welcome to show up in this less formal attire, your food most certainly will be dressed to impress. Among the most popular dishes at the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Dallas restaurant are the lobster-scallion “shooters” with a red chile-coconut sake for $20 and the “bacon and eggs,” consisting of Niman Ranch chipotle bacon, scrambled duck egg and black truffle also for $20. Abacus also offers a variety of sushi, and among the desserts there’s a chocolate banana mousse cake with spiced rum caramel sauce, coffee and doughnuts with white chocolate espresso cream, and s’more lollipops. All these tasty treats are overseen by pastry chef Mark Menzie and are $10 a pop.
