What is the scene like at STOCK Restaurant Bar & Lounge?

The logo of STOCK Restaurant Bar & Lounge, a dollar sign punctuated with a fork, indicates that this is a flashy place. The soaring ceilings, dramatic black-and-white (or, as we like to say, caviar-and-champagne) color scheme, indulgent menu, elite wine program and professional yet friendly service are all designed to impress. You will probably spot the tycoons of Toronto’s “Wall Street” meeting over their power breakfasts and lunches. At dinner, the scene becomes more glamorous and romantic. Chef Todd Clarmo’s menu includes Canadian black sturgeon caviar, pan-seared Quebec foie gras, poached lobster with a truffle-tartar sauce and perhaps one of the world’s most decadent hot dogs, made of Wagyu beef and topped with braised short ribs, sauerkraut, pepperoncini and Pommery mustard. The sommelier will suggest the proper pairing from the 1,000-bottle wine program, which features selected vintages available exclusively at Trump International Hotel & Tower Toronto’s restaurant. The icing on the cake has to be the Chocolate Cart, a trolley wheeled to your table loaded with bars, barks, truffles and toffees. These bonbons are created in the restaurant’s Chocolate Lab. Even the Donald would be dazzled with the signature sea salt and caramel chocolate toffee.

Where is STOCK Restaurant Bar & Lounge located?

STOCK Restaurant Bar & Lounge is located on the 31st floor of Trump International Hotel & Tower Toronto at 325 Bay Street, on the southeast corner of Adelaide and Bay streets. The hotel’s signature restaurant is in the heart of Toronto’s financial district, steps from the Toronto Stock Exchange. Opened in January 2012, Trump Toronto — Donald Trump’s first foray into Canada — is in an ideal location for both business and leisure guests, as nearby attractions include Harbourfront, Rogers Centre (formerly SkyDome), Air Canada Centre, the Opera House, museums, galleries, shops and theater and nightlife venues. You can arrive at STOCK via Toronto’s efficient transportation system (the King Street subway stop, King Street streetcar and Bay Street bus) or have your car valet-parked in the seven-story interior parking lot.
