What are the rooms like at L’Auberge Casino Resort Lake Charles?

All of L'Auberge Casino Resort Lake Charles’ luxury rooms, suites and villas are well appointed with one aim in mind — to pamper guests at every turn. Luxury rooms range from 375 to 450 square feet and feature king or double queen bed configurations, 42-inch flat screen TVs and iPhone docking stations. Luxury rooms, which feature a natural brown and green color palette and a generous use of woods, also come with floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the pool, Contraband Bayou Golf Club and the ship channel. Rooms overlooking the pool area also offer views of the sun setting over the I-210 Bridge.

Suites range from 750 and 1,400 square feet and feature V.I.P. check-in, king-sized beds, a separate living room, a wet bar with refrigerator and Keurig coffee machine, and gated access to the pool. Some suites even come with a living room fireplace. Suites also feature a bathroom with a large bowl-shaped tub made from Italian marble, a separate shower stall, and a flat-screen television. Garden-level suites include a private terrace and butler service.

L'Auberge's villas include all of the amenities in the resort's suites but also offer more than 2,000 square feet of living space and a separate V.I.P entrance. Villas are available by invitation only.

What’s the best time to visit L’Auberge Casino Resort Lake Charles?

L'Auberge Casino Resort Lake Charles has activities for guests throughout the year, both inside the hotel's grounds and throughout the 242-acre resort. First-time visitors to Southwest Louisiana, however, must keep in mind the region's hot and humid summers, when average daytime temperatures often reach into the mid-90s. If you're a golfer, your best bet is to play the resort's Contraband Bayou Golf Club in the spring, fall and winter months when the weather is much cooler. Live entertainment is scheduled throughout the year, and performances are held both indoors and outside in the resort's beach area. L'Auberge's indoor shops, restaurants and casino are all climate controlled for year-round comfort.
