What is the dress code at Fish Out of Water?

Though the restaurant is named Fish Out of Water, the engaging and friendly servers ensure you won’t feel like one at this elegant, beachfront spot. Like the menu offerings, choosing how to dress is really just a matter of taste. Resort wear is appropriate at this casual-chic Gulf-front restaurant, so come comfortable. For ladies, this is the place to showcase a smart shift or skirt with strappy sandals, as long as they are not flip-flops. Gentlemen do not need to don a tie, but if you feel like wearing a dinner jacket to look as good as the beautifully plated entrées, you would not be overdressed.

What are some of the best Double Cross Vodka cocktails?

When making drinks with Double Cross Vodka, you’re sure to have one of the best cocktails around no matter what accompanies it. Try the Seeing Double — muddle thyme and blueberry syrup, and then add Double Cross and ice. Shake and strain into a martini glass and garnish the glass with three blue-cheese-stuffed blueberries. For something with a splash of Scotch, the Double Barrel is the perfect fit. First rinse your glass with rose water, then pour three ounces of Double Cross, one ounce dry Madeira, one spoonful of fig jam and, of course, one bar spoon of Ardbeg Scotch whisky into the glass and garnish with a lime twist. If you’re looking for something to beat the hot sun, this refreshing take on an Arnold Palmer will do the trick: For a Double Bogie, add all ingredients — two ounces of Double Cross, a half-ounce of peach puree, a half-ounce of Grand Marnier and two ounces of unsweetened iced tea — into your glass and garnish with a lemon slice.
