What’s the best time to visit Vail Mountain Lodge?

Winter is the ideal time to visit Vail Mountain Lodge. After all, Vail is known for its world-class ski slopes. And even if you’re not a skier, you can enjoy the beautiful winter weather in Colorado by ice skating, snowshoeing and snowmobiling under sunny skies that appear in-between snow flurries . Then there’s always sipping hot cocoa by a roaring fire — a worthy way to pass the time in the winter months! Summer in the Colorado Rockies is also glorious, with bright blue skies and moderate temperatures, mid-June through mid-September. In the warm-weather months you can go hiking, biking, kayaking or rafting in the mountains and nearby rivers. Fall and spring are off-season for Vail; that’s when you’ll find the best discounts and deals at Vail Mountain Lodge. Whichever season you choose to visit, check out the lodge's signature amenity, the Vail Vitality Center. The center goes beyond the usual gym/spa (though you'll still find yoga and cardio classes) by offering nutrition counseling, regenerative medicine, rehabilitation and chiropractic work, personal coaching and more.
