What restaurants does Hotel Arista have?

Just off the lobby at Hotel Arista is Zorba Lounge, where you can grab a cocktail and appetizer. SugarToad, the adjacent eatery, boasts modern, seasonal cuisine made with local and regionally sourced ingredients as well as items from the restaurant’s own garden. To get to the rest of the restaurants on the property, step outside and take your pick of a few different options. Kafenío is a popular, cafeteria-style place to grab a breakfast sandwich or quick lunch before heading to a meeting next door.

All the food at Tap In Pub and Carvery is housemade — we recommend the chef’s daily selection of sliders — and the bar keeps local brews on tap, including Two Brothers and Revolution Brewery. CityGate Grille is the farthest distance from the Hotel Arista lobby, but you can always get a ride in the hotel’s hybrid SUV or little electric car. It is a great place for a romantic meal under the colorful mural of the Chicago city skyline. And, before you check out, go to Lavazza for a gelato and a cup of coffee or a glass of wine (as if you need a reason).

What is the design style of Hotel Arista?

Sleek and modern Hotel Arista’s color palette has a lot of gray. The décor is far from boring, however; it features a mix of textures such as faux-leather wallpaper, marbled stone, tweedy fabric, shiny accents and buttery leather furniture in the Living Room off the main lobby. Every detail seems to evoke nature, down to the framed photographs throughout the hotel. The meeting spaces, each named for a notable place in and around Greece, are contemporary but configurable for all kinds of events. The only room in the hotel that doesn’t have windows is the ballroom, which features long, rectangular chandeliers with metal fringe.

What’s the best time to visit Hotel Arista?

There’s plenty to enjoy at Hotel Arista all year long, but spring and summer are the best times to visit. The luxury hotel hosts the Naperville Wine Festival in August, and will also hold a yoga event on the front lawn in September. If you’re headed to Chicago — a city known for its summer festivals — you’ll find that getting to the hotel is easy on Interstate 88. You can also forego the car altogether and take the commuter Metra rail, which has a stop just three miles away from the hotel. If you’d like to stay local, head to downtown Naperville: On the Fourth of July, residents and visitors gather to sample ribs from all over the world at Ribfest. Or, come at the end of summer to enjoy the music, food and fun of the Last Fling street fest.
