Does Quartz Crystal Spa offer couples treatments?

Quartz Crystal Spa lets couples reconnect and enjoy each other’s company. Not only does Trump International Hotel & Tower Toronto’s spa boast two private couples suites and enormous double showers, but the possibilities for pampering include a five-hour day of head-to-toe delights with a gourmet lunch (La Dolce Vita for Two) and individual treatments designed to spur romance. Bridal couples can take time before the “I do’s” to enjoy wraps, facials, manicures, pedicures, eye treatments and massages accompanied by a private lunch with champagne. One of the treats available in the Toronto spa comes direct from the hotel’s Chocolate Lab. Every week, a different handmade chocolate creation from the lab, such as a citrus-chili bonbon or an artistically patterned chocolate filled with liqueur, is served to spa patrons as a treat along with complimentary dried fruits, dark chocolates, nuts and teas from the Antioxidant Bar in the spa lounge. It may not be Eve tempting Adam (although there are bowls of apples and fruit everywhere), but it could be just the thing to rekindle a couple’s relationship, followed by a massage, a rinse in the rainhead shower stall and a blissful session in the sauna. Quartz is one of the only full-service spas in the city, which means couples can visit its hair salon to get glamorous after their spa treatments.

What kinds of massages are offered at Quartz Crystal Spa?

Massages at Trump International Hotel & Tower Toronto’s Quartz Crystal Spa range from professional Swedish or sports rubdowns to signature treatments, such as its 50- or 80-minute Harmonizing Thermal Crystal Massage — which gives deep thermal healing through quartz crystals, reputed to balance energy and strengthen the body’s systems — or the 75-minute bamboo massage, where heated bamboo sticks of various lengths and sizes are rubbed along every part of the body for a flow of restored energy to tired muscles and tendons. Pregnant woman who have passed their first trimester can also take advantage of the Toronto spa’s 50- or 80-minute prenatal massage, which uses support cushions and techniques to help reduce lower back pain, leg cramps and water retention. And of course, all pedicures include a proper foot massage in a basin enlivened with quartz crystals. When booking, you can request a male or female massage therapist.
