What kinds of nail services are offered at The Spa at Encore Macau?

You can experience two types of nail services when visiting The Spa at Encore Macau, which is located on the first floor of the sophisticated Encore Macau property. Choose a 45-minute manicure or a 60-minute pedicure. If you’re there for a manicure, expect a soothing hand massage followed by the usual shape, trim, buff and polish. The process for a pedicure entails a foot exfoliation and massage as well as work on the cuticles before polish is applied. And if you’re at the Macau spa experiencing either a 60- or 90-minute massage or facial, the manicure and/or pedicure can be added to enhance your relaxing treatment.

What refreshments are provided at The Spa at Encore Macau?

There are a variety of refreshments provided at The Spa at Encore Macau, which is located inside of Encore Macau. You will be offered tea upon arrival to your private spa suite and you’ll also be able to nibble on the delicious cookies that are a combination of cinnamon, lemongrass and ginger. After your treatment, you’ll be given a plate of fresh fruit, including slices of watermelon, cantaloupe, mango and pineapple alongside a glass of orange juice. There are also bottles of water (cold or at room temperature) for you to stay hydrated, and should you want more tea, your therapist will be happy to give you another piping-hot cup as your every wish is her (or his) command.

    Is Terrazza a romantic restaurant?

Galaxy Hotel’s Terrazza definitely fits the bill for being a romantic restaurant. The centerpiece of the dimly lit establishment is a three-tiered chandelier filled with candles, and if you venture outside to the patio area, Terrazza’s water feature can help set the mood as a complement to a glass of Michele Chiarlo “Nivole” Moscato d’ Asti, which is a part of the restaurant’s 800-bottle wine list (brought to you to peruse on an iPad). In fact, the night I dined at the Macau restaurant, a young man in a nearby booth proposed to his girlfriend. The young lady was crying tears of joy as onlookers showed their excitement for the newly engaged couple by smiling and giving them a round of applause.

What non-alcoholic drinks or mocktails does Terrazza offer?

Terrazza, which is located inside of Galaxy Hotel, offers plenty of non-alcoholic drink options. Should you be in the mood for still mineral water, choose Acqua Panna or Voss. If you’d like sparkling water, there’s San Pellegrino and Voss. As for freshly squeezed juices on the menu, pick from apple, carrot and orange, and if you prefer chilled juice, select from pineapple, tomato, cranberry and lime. Soft drinks are also provided along with Illy coffee (any way you want it — decaffeinated, fresh brewed, espresso, macchiato, cappuccino, latte) and a selection of teas, from black and green (organic English breakfast, organic jasmine green tea) to fruit and herbal (organic citrus mint, African solstice). For those guests who want something that looks like a cocktail but isn’t, the Macau restaurant’s five mocktails should do the trick. Try the Tornado Twist (cranberry juice and lemon soda), Citrus Mint Cooler (ginger ale, orange juice and fresh lemon juice), Italian Cream Soda (cream soda, passion fruit syrup and watermelon juice), Mock Sparkling (orange juice, ginger ale and pineapple juice) and Cherry Fizz (ginger ale and cherry juice).

What kinds of massages are offered at Bodhi Spa?

There are several kinds of massages offered to Bodhi Spa guests. Choose from the traditional massages (Swedish, sports therapeutic and manual lymphatic drainage), which are all offered at either 60 or 90 minutes, or from other types. And since Conrad Macao, Cotai Central’s spa incorporates Ayurvedic (Vata Abhyanga, Kapha Abhyanga, Pitta Abhyanga, Abhyanga – Samadhosha and Shirodhara), Aboriginal (LI’TYA balance and renew, LI’TYA Kodo and LI’TYA indigenous Australian stone therapy) and Asian (Balinese, Thai, reflexology and tu na — the Chinese art of producing the perfect proportion between yin and yang) traditions, expect a blend of the old coupled with up-to-date techniques in each massage. Every treatment will be personalized to suit your individual needs so when you meet with the spa desk host, don’t be surprised when you’re asked about everything from your lifestyle to your preferred oil scent.

Does Bodhi Spa offer couples treatments?

Conrad Macao, Cotai Central’s Bodhi Spa offers couples treatments, such as the two-and-a-half-hour Exotic Couples Retreat. Escape with your sweetie for an exotic body scrub (get rid of dead skin cells with this combo of citrus, fig, ginger and rose petal elements); the Bodhi steam ritual, where a blend of lavender, rosewood and chamomile scents are used to put the mind and body at ease; and a 90-minute signature massage (choose any service from the Aboriginal or Ayurvedic Traditions) of your preference. And since your time at the Macau spa will always be customized to fit your needs, should you want to experience another service for two other than the Exotic Couples Retreat, it can be arranged.

The kinds of skincare products that are used at Conrad Macao, Cotai Central’s Bodhi Spa include LI’TYA and Thalgo. LI’TYA, which means “of the earth,” is a skin-, body- and hair-care line that incorporates homegrown Australian plants, sea fruits and clays to provide therapeutic wellness.
