What is the best way to see New York City in two days?

I highly suggest consulting and utilizing your Hotel Concierge to expertly plan your two days; therefore maximizing your 48 hours in NYC!!  Hiring a wonderful private guide would be a great suggestion and a wonderful way of learning about our city especially the incredible history etc.   Ideally I would suggest the first day for exploring Manhattan from Battery Park to Soho, Little Italy, Chinatown to The Meat Packing District to Midtown Shopping, Restaurants and a Broadway Show.  The Next day I would suggest Art and Culture of our famous Museums and again together with great restaurants.

What should I pack for a trip to New York City?

New York City is a bit more formal than most other areas of the US.  I would suggest business attire if appropriate and some very good walking shoes.   I would also suggest paying attention to the weather forecast in order to guide your packing needs as Winter vs. Summer weather would require very different packing choices.   We are also a shopping mecca; meaning you can virtually buy anything here so if you happen to forget some of your favorite items the chances are you they are readily available here.

What are the best spas in New York City?

The Waldorf Astoria Guerlain Spa is one of the best in New York City.   Conveniently located at the Waldorf Astoria in the heart of Manhattan; just steps away from 5th Avenue and Rockefeller Center.   The luxurious Spa is located on the 19th Floor of The Waldorf Astoria and guests may also access the Spa from the exclusive Waldorf Towers Entrance at 100 East 50th Street.   In addition to extensive treatments such as: Customized Facials, Body Treatments, Specialized Massages, Manicures, Pedicures, Waxing, Sunless Tanning; the Waldorf Astoria Guerlain Spa is an escape into an indulgent moment right in the heart of Manhattan.   What makes this particular Spa unique and standout from the rest are the wide assortment of luxurious treatment rooms each with its own luxurious oversized bathroom and shower.  Guests of the Spa not only have a very lovely pre-arrival waiting area where they are served beverages and biscuits such teas, coffee, champagne but they also are able to utilize their own private luxurious treatment room for another 20 minutes post treatment. During this time guests can luxuriate in the room; listen to music, shower, change, unwind, relax and they are again served a very lovely tray of water, chocolates and hot and cold towels.   The staff aim to please and pamper each guest from the moment you arrive.  Personally I have been a big fan of Guerlain products for years; their Orchide Imperiale Facial Cream is one of the best for softening lines and smoothing facial tension, eye contour etc.

What are the best restaurants in New York City?

Certainly the top most deluxe restaurants immediately come to mind when anyone asks this question:  Eleven Madison Park, Per Se, Daniel, Jean Georges, Bouley, La Grenouille, Le Bernardin, Gramercy Tavern and Gotham Bar & Grill; all of which represent exquisite cuisine, luxurious surroundings and pampered service with well known Chefs and owners.   I am also a big fan of the following: Mas (Farmhouse) and Mas (La Grillade), Marea, and all of Tom Colichio's restaurants especially Colicchio & Sons and Riverpark. I also have many personal favorites by category and cuisine; we are so fortunate in NYC to be blessed with such an abundance of great restaurants!!
