How old does my child need to be to visit Altira Spa?

Even though we believe in the importance and power of all of our spa treatments at Altira Spa, please leave the children under 12 years of age back in the room (or hire a babysitter through our hotel concierge). If you’re over 12 years old, we offer all of our treatments on the menu. Choose from a variety of massages, including Rebalance and Restore, or body scrubs such as the yummy Brown Sugar & Cinnamon. Those over 12 years old are also able to book any services in the Hair & Beauty Salon, where you can get a manicure and pedicure, a fancy up-do or some new hair highlights. If your child wishes to use the other facilities around the spa, it is important to note that you must be 16 years old and above to use the gym.

Does Altira Spa have a shop to purchase products used during treatments?

Part of the fun of taking a trip to a spa (other than the obvious luxurious and relaxing experience) is the possibility of exploring the spa’s shop to purchase products used during treatments. At Altira Spa, we feature a small shop located behind the reception area where you can peruse the shelves for creamy lotions, decadent candles or treatment lines from Collin and Elemis. We go one step further in terms of personalized treatment — if you fell in love with our special essential oils used during your treatment, just let us know and we will contact our own production house to specially whip up your own personal essential oil. Pretty cool, right?
