Suzie Mills

Suzannah Jayne “Suzie” Mills was promoted to general manager of Trump International Hotel & Tower New York at One Central Park West in August 2007. She has served on the management team of this award-winning luxury hotel since 1996, the year before it opened. She has just overseen a $30 million renovation of the entire hotel. She was also voted Crain’s 40 under 40 for 2009. Most recently, Mills was the hotel’s assistant general manager, directing the day-to-day operation of the hotel and tower, and supervising a $7 million hotel renovation in 2004. For two years prior, she was rooms division manager. Mills joined the Trump team as front office manager in October 1996 just before the hotel’s high-profile debut in January 1997. Mills was previously assistant manager of the Mayfair Hotel. Working primarily as the night manager, she supervised all front desk, security, room service and housekeeping staff on duty. She joined the hotel as a management trainee in 1994 upon arriving to New York from London. Mills launched her career at The Savoy Hotel in 1989, where she rose from junior cashier to banqueting sales executive during her five-year tenure at the historic London hotel. She has been immersed in the hospitality industry since childhood, working at her parents’ hotel in Wales from the age of 10.
