Geoffrey’s is as classic Malibu as it gets—it began as the Holiday House, a Richard Neutra-designed resort and restaurant that opened in 1948 and catered to the era’s biggest Hollywood stars, including Frank Sinatra, Lana Turner and Marilyn Monroe. The restaurant became Geoffrey’s in 1983 and didn’t miss a beat. Perhaps its success has something to do with its enviable location atop a bluff overlooking the Pacific—or perhaps it’s the deliciously classic fare. We especially love this spot for its Sunday brunch; the stunning ocean views make for the perfect accompaniment to favorites like eggs Benedict topped with prosciutto, housemade hollandaise sauce and rosemary potatoes, and chicken picatta with sautéed vegetables, mashed potatoes and a lemon-caper butter sauce.
