Gerard’s Place is an intimate hideaway near the White House with high-back chairs,
sheaths draped overhead, vibrant colors and a large glass chandelier with amber-colored
tones. Two menus are offered nightly: a five-course chef’s tasting menu as well as a
three-course prix fixe menu. Expect classic French dishes with refined twists, such
as sautéed scallops with garlic flan and parsley mousse, braised short ribs with potato
galette, and coconut dacquoise with roasted pineapple and lime sorbet.
