About Glenwood Springs, Colorado:
Doc Holliday, the famous gunman, died here in 1887. His marker bears the wry inscription, "He died in bed."
Today, Glenwood Springs is a popular year-round health spa resort where visitors may both ski and swim in a single day. The town is the gateway to White River National Forest.
