Built by cowboy artist Lon Megargee as his home and studio, this inn, and its acclaimed onsite restaurant LON’s, is a nice alternative to the bigger resorts. Situated on a half acre marked by olive and mesquite trees, towering palms and brilliant flowers, the accommodations range from cozy casitas to huge villas. Rooms feature authentic furnishings and original artwork painted by Megargee some 70 years ago.
