The Inn at Harbor Town sits adjacent to the magnificent Harbour Town Golf Links, home to one of the most beloved stops on the PGA tour schedule each year. The course offers a truly Southern experience with a mix of romantic oak trees draped with Spanish moss, palm trees blowing in the ocean breeze, and a striking view of the ocean-blue Calibogue Sound. The sharp twists and narrow straightaways throughout the first 16 holes are lined with a mix of beautiful trees, a sparkling lagoon, gorgeous residential homes and plenty of sand traps.
On hole 17, the course opens up to the sweeping views of the watery divide between the Sea Pines Resort and Daufuskie Island. But be wary of the seductive beauty—the welcome sea breeze may carry your drives straight into the water. The finishing gaze includes the red and white striped Harbour Town Lighthouse, which serves as a beacon to boaters and golfers alike as a target for that final shot off the tee.
A round of golf at Harbour Town Golf Links offers beauty at every turn, thanks to the design by legendary golf course designer Pete Dye, who worked with Jack Nicklaus to create this famous course.
