EAST, Beijing

A business-minded hotel with bounce
Just 20 minutes from Beijing Capital International Airport in the northeast portion of the city, East, Beijing offers a hip and contemporary place to hang your hat. Especially well-suited to business travelers, this 369-room the Forbes Travel Guide Recommended hotel gives you views of the city or the sprawling park behind it. The lobby is a sleek and sparse space with wooden benches, glowing Lucite desks, wooden-slatted walls and locally commissioned artwork, such as the installation of 30 stratified building materials by Ma Han.

The guest rooms are also spacious and modern, with comfy beds, flat-screen televisions, Elemis bath products and business-friendly features such as outlets by the bed and desk, printing over the Wi-Fi network and an iPod Touch on the nightstand.
