This inn tells guests it's the “most Hawaiian bed-and-breakfast on Maui,” and with native Hawaiian artifacts adorning each room, it’s not hard to see why. Everything in each of the six rooms is handmade, including real koa wood furniture and cozy Hawaiian quilts, and all rooms also feature either an ocean or mountain view. The most fascinating aspect of the house, however, is the array of cultural experiences offered by the inn: the owners have built an imu, or underground oven, for slow-cooking traditional island fare, and can also instruct guests in making a range of Hawaiian crafts.
