The room service menu at The Inn at Dos Brisas in Washington, Texas, is small but still includes a wonderful and interesting variety. On our most recent visit to the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star hotel, we could order three main courses: a whole roasted chicken with honey and lemon thyme; a 90-minute ranch cut 28-day aged prime beef rib-eye and a Black Hill Farm roasted suckling pig. The selections included fingerling mash, a daily selection of hand harvested field vegetables and a summer squash and tomato casserole. The menu also included 12 sides that could be ordered as small plates to create a meal. These included duck lasagna, organic vegetable pot pie, lamb sliders, rabbit boudin and ricotta gnocchi. Desserts included a velvety chocolate mouse, peach cream caramel with lavender and a chocolate and whisky chiffon cake with pecans and Coca-Cola.
