With just 18 guest rooms, Glenmere Mansion feels more like a home, and that’s one of the best things about it. Owners Dan DeSimone and Alan Stenberg enlisted the help of interior designer Scott Snyder to outfit the property, with the goal of maintaining Glenmere’s original appeal while combining contemporary furnishings, artwork and influences. The result? Guest rooms feel incredibly elegant with plenty of natural light, scenic views, lush fabrics and all the proper modern amenities. Attention to detail when it comes to luxurious touches is prevalent in the rooms, too. You’ll feel pampered with the working fireplaces, heated bathroom floors and custom-designed Italian linens, and certain rooms even afford terraces that overlook the manicured grounds and nearby Glenmere Lake.
