With The Supper Room’s location in the Lower Hudson Valley, it seems only fitting that the restaurant would boast a strong wine program. The sommelier at the helm, Michael A. Cimino, came to Glenmere Mansion when it first opened in 2009. Prior to his role at the property, Cimino earned his degree from the Sommelier Society of America before putting in an impressive 10 years at Xaviars Restaurant Group, as well as time at The Park Steakhouse in Park Ridge, N.J. It was during his time at The Park Steakhouse that he earned the Award of Distinction from Wine Enthusiast Magazine twice, in addition to the Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator. Cimino is also the author of a book, The Waitperson’s Guide to Wine — Practical Information For Service.
