The remnants of Walter J. Kohler Sr.’s boarding house are the basis for the opulent yet
inviting Immigrant Restaurant and Winery. No expense was spared when it came to the creation of the building. The Immigrant Club is divided into six rooms, each of
which represents the nationalities that populated Wisconsin in its early days—Dutch,
German, Norman, Danish, French and English. For those looking for something light,
the sampling menu features smaller bites including marinated olives, sirloin carpaccio
or bruschetta as well as desserts such as vanilla-and-Armagnac-roasted bananas,
lemon-raspberry cake or the chocolate trilogy.
