Full of soaring metal sculptures and high-walled, intimate booths, this cavernous diner on Wilshire Boulevard is large enough to shoot a cannon through. That’s the way the food is, too–big. The menu is extensive, with deli classics, gourmet diet fare, mountainous salads, and refined entrées like pork chops and frog legs. Always open from early morning to late at night, and always packed with celebrities, wheeling-and-dealing producers, post-theater diners, and retirees, this upscale yet casual joint has something for everyone who has too much cash and flash to be seen in a Denny’s.
