Kaua’i Grill is located in The St. Regis Princeville Resort on Kauai’s North Shore. A former plantation named "the City of the Prince” after a royal visit by Hawai'i's Prince Albert in 1860, Princeville lies in splendor between the surf-splashed shore of Hanalei Bay and a dramatic backdrop of craggy, volcanic mountains.
Residing on the North Shore of the island, the former Princeville Resort underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation, reopening in 2009 rebranded as a St. Regis. Claiming some of those coins, the Kauai restaurant emerged with an understated, glamorous interior, catering to discerning clientele. Open to all comers, whether resort guests or not, the Grill has floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the magical view across Hanalei Bay to mist-cloaked Mount Makana, a sight made famous as “Bali Hai” in the 1958 classic South Pacific.
