The American Club has a number of conference rooms available for both business and entertainment purposes. On the conference level, the Thunder Bay and Bay de Noc rooms have built-in projection screens and external television/cable hook-ups. While the Marquette Bay room accommodates 32 guests, Bay de Noc and Thunder Bay provide banquet seating for 80. The Great Bay Room provides over 2,000-square-feet of space for up to 160 guests, and glimmers beneath breathtaking crystal chandeliers hanging from 10-foot ceilings. The room can also be divided into three smaller spaces paying tribute to beautiful Door County’s Ellison, Sister and Sturgeon Bays.
The Great Hall of the Great Lakes is designed to accommodate up to 998 guests in a theater-style setting, but can be rearranged into five individual rooms for breakout sessions. Lake Michigan and Lake Superior each offer more than 2,300 square feet of space, while the smaller Erie, Ontario, and Huron salons provide more than 720 square feet respectively.
More private conference level rooms at this Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel include Traverse, Georgian, and Whitefish Bay spaces. On the lobby level of The American Club, business guests can utilize the more intimate Founder’s Room for up to 18 guests, and it also includes a private courtyard terrace.
