When shoppers on Bellevue Avenue need to sit a spell, they stop at La Forge Casino Restaurant, the place for casual dining (not a gambling spot) in the area. Owned and operated by the same family for nearly 50 years, LaForge offers a menu that reflects their Irish ancestry. Both the front dining room and pub are cozy and inviting with exposed brick walls, dark green leather booths, historic pictures, and two bars, but many diners gravitate to the rear porch, where large windows offer a vew of the central grass tennis court of the International Tennis Hall of Fame (a 6-acre complex of which the restaurant is a part). Umbrella tables are also available for courtside dining during warm weather.
