Located inside the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, La Palme d’Or is a 1920s- era dining room decked out in flowers and tropical foliage, with mirrored columns, ornate light fixtures, and a view of the hotel’s beautiful, oversized swimming pool. Besides a long list of inspired à la carte choices, the chef offers a six-course prix fixe experience and a nine-course tasting menu. Each menu can be paired with wine for an additional fee. The food here is varied in influence, with many contemporary French choices and several dishes inspired by Spain, Italy and Morocco. Plates are artfully presented by servers who practice their craft with care and professionalism.
