Set in the stately Rittenhouse Hotel, Lacroix is a restaurant of understated elegance.
The kitchen plays up fresh local ingredients with a delicate French hand, while guests
dine in posh, sophisticated luxury and enjoy views of the charming Rittenhouse
Square. While acclaimed chef Jean-Marie Lacroix has retired, the kitchen is still in
able hands under the direction of Chef Matthew Levin. The flexible tasting menu is
the best option here, where diners can choose three, four or five courses, and desserts
are generously provided as a gift from the chef. The Sunday brunch (where the buffet
is set up in the kitchen) is a particular Philadelphia favorite.
