Much like its name, there are two sides to Ember Grille & Wine Bar, a fine dining experience with white tablecloths and roaring fireplaces on one side of the establishment and a sophisticated yet engaging lounge on the other. The restaurant features wood-fired steaks with signature preparations including toppings like foie gras to a creamy horseradish sauce.
For something dramatic and delicious, the 40-ounce Ember prime ribeye “Tomahawk” may be carved tableside and served with a choice of two sauces. Other menu highlights of the 140-seat Ember Grille include interesting variations on seafood, lamb and poultry and delectable sides (truffle mac ’n’ cheese, wasabi mashed potatoes). And thanks to chef Brock Granger, the menu changes about every three months.
On the other side of the wall, the Wine Bar accommodates 50 and serves handcrafted signature cocktails and more than 240 varieties of vino. Live music is performed nightly on the grand piano and leather couches and chairs offer a relaxed atmosphere for relishing company. The full restaurant menu is also available at the bar, and many of the restaurant’s unique appetizers, such as the barbecue pecan-bacon wrapped shrimp over smoked cheddar grits, make for a perfect combination with the bar’s libations.
