Drinking at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas may result in a wicked hangover the next morning because you won’t find any variation of a sleepy hotel lobby bar at this Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star hotel. On the contrary, two of the most over-the-top nightclubs in Las Vegas are housed in Encore — complete with nightly performances by world-famous deejays and sumptuous, bold décor. Surrender, the hotel’s poolside nightclub, is the perfect example, having hosted famous acts like Calvin Harris, Tiësto and Lil Jon. If there’s no live performance, those who spend their evenings at Surrender wear designer everything and sit in clusters on one of the bright yellow tufted banquettes to watch sexy go-go dancers do their thing.
Another standout nightclub is XS, where hugely popular dance music deejays like Tiësto, Deadmau5 and Steve Aoki have residences. (That led to MTV News dubbing the nightclub “Las Vegas’ Dance Music Mecca.”) In other words, XS is not for the faint of heart. The club boasts 10,000 light sources, dance floor bottle service and a 10-foot rotating chandelier — the end result is a party you’ll never forget. Be sure to try the Ono cocktail for a cool $10,000 if you’re going all out. Drinks don’t usually come with cufflinks and a pearl pendant, but this one does.
Eastside Lounge is a total departure from both Surrender and XS with its intimate lounge feel and charming nightly dueling pianos act. You can access Eastside Lounge from the Wynn casino, so blackjack fiends will likely hear some piano tricks. Even the lobby bar at Encore oozes character thanks to bright red walls, carpet punctuated by butterflies, an elaborate architectural ceiling and a bronze goddess statue. Encore Beach Club, which is only open a select number of months throughout the year, is a day club with plush red and white daybeds on tiered levels, palm trees, waterfalls and a gorgeous pool as the centerpiece. All of the five restaurants at the hotel have their own bars if you want a full meal with your cocktail, and Tryst at Wynn Las Vegas is just a stone’s throw away.
Encore Las Vegas has eight bars:
