If there’s one thing you won’t do at The Laurel Collection by Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, it’s go hungry. The room service menu at the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star hotel reads like a novel and can satisfy just about any hunger pang. Our favorite part of the menu is that it’s available around the clock.
Breakfast dishes range from fresh fruit, cereal and pancakes to the Japanese breakfast of poached salmon, miso broth, pickled vegetables and steamed rice with your choice of green tea or juice. We particularly loved the breakfast potatoes that come alongside the eggs.
If you’re in your room for lunch, you’ll have choices such as the chicken Caesar wrap with romaine lettuce, grilled chicken, Caesar dressing and Parmesan cheese bundled up in a garlic-herb tortilla, or the “hangover” burger, which is a Kobe burger on a brioche bun topped with bacon, chili, a fried egg, mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, shredded iceberg lettuce, tomato and, finally, fried onions. If that doesn’t cure your hangover, we aren’t sure what will.
And when dinnertime rolls around, satisfy your taste buds with dishes such as a whole Maine lobster — grilled or steamed with your choice of sides — and shrimp arrabiata pizza (it’s spicy). Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, take a look at the Asian menu. You’ll find delicious options such as cashew chicken and house fried rice with shrimp, pork and chicken.
When you want to order room service, all you have to do is click on the Caesars Palace app — which you should download as soon as you make your reservation — and select the items you want, and voila, dinner is served (or breakfast or lunch).
