What is the interior design of Andrea’s?

Having taken over the former Switch Steak space, Andrea’s is drastically different from the theatrical steakhouse — so much so that you can barely recognize it’s even the same room. It’s located just off the ritzy Encore Casino and looks out onto Encore Beach Club and Surrender. But the real views are inside the swanky East-meets-West restaurant. The sleek, white, slate floors in the bar give way to a tan, patterned carpet throughout the dining room. It’s an open floor plan, but lining one side of the restaurant are seven private dining enclaves. Our Forbes Travel Guide editors love these tables; they’re booths tucked inside little alcoves, so it feels as if you’re in your own dining room.
The overall feel is very clubby — that’s the intent, after all. Above the slick white bar is an oversized piece of art featuring Steve Wynn’s wife (and restaurant namesake) Andrea Hissom; in it, her eyes constantly change colors. It definitely stands out against the minimalist décor and the tan, cream and brown color palette.
