Although Aureole Las Vegas has a show-stopping four-story wine tower complete with “wine angels” who scale the structure looking for bottles and entertain with aerial stunts, the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star restaurant keeps the rest of the décor simple. It uses elegant, contemporary table settings to complement chef Charlie Palmer’s classic, French-inspired menu. A large, white charger with a speckle pattern and restaurant insignia tops every table. High-backed, suede chairs and leather-bound banquettes provide stylish seating, and tablecloths and napkins are crisp, white linens. Stemware and salt and pepper shakers flank a beautiful oil lamp that provides warm light, and a fresh orchid in a blown-glass vase colorfully finishes each table. It’s not as showy as that wine tower, but lovely nonetheless.
