The desserts at Carnevino incorporate fresh, seasonal ingredients, so expect delicious fruit-filled sweets. When we visited the Italian steakhouse, the dessert menu included seven individual dishes, including a concord grape crisp with oat crumble; a fig and mascarpone tart with handmade puff pastry; and a peanut butter tart with concord grape jam. You’ll also have a choice of such frozen sweets as espresso gelato or chocolate sorbetto. The Las Vegas restaurant sources its fruit and other fresh finds from local farms, name-checking them on the menu. At the wine-centric spot, each dessert has a recommended pairing listed with it, such as the apple fritters and the “Coclheita” Nieport Porto 1995. And as an Italian restaurant at its core, Carnevino includes a terrific selection of coffees and digestivos to finish your meal. Additionally, you’ll see a great variety of single-malt scotches that plays up the steakhouse side of Carnevino’s personality. All in all, you won’t be lacking in edible or drinkable dessert options.
